Warning 04 from NHC at 1500 GMT
Position 8.8N 56.8W
Location 405 miles SE of Grenada
Movement 280° (W) at 22 knots
Maximum sustained winds 35 knots gusting to 45 knots
Winds of 34 knots or higher occur within 70 miles of the centre
Minimum central pressure: 1005 mbar
Threatened landmasses Windward Islands, ABC Islands, Venezuela, Colombia
Next warning from NHC at 1800 GMT

The disturbance is headed rapidly west towards the southern Windward Islands and northern South America. The system will intensify to 40 knots, before dissipate off the coast of Colombia.

Regional warnings
A tropical storm WARNING is in force for Barbados, Trinidad, Tobago and Grenada; also for the east coast of Venezuela from Pedernales to Cumana including Isla de Margarita.
A tropical storm watch is in force for Aruba and Bonaire.

Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches can be expected over the Windward Islands and northeastern Venezuela.
